The pace of change in technology is remarkable and accelerating. This has prompted questions as to how the global community of central banks and supervisory agencies is to keep abreast?

The Innovation Hub, set up by the Bank for International Settlements in 2019, is part of that response. The Hub’s purpose is to engage with critical trends in technology and to develop in-depth knowledge with a view to creating public goods that improve the functioning of the global financial system.
