ICYMI: In an MIT Sloan Management Review article, Ivey Business School's Mary Crossan, William Furlong, and Robert D. Austin argue that organizations with cultures that value character as much as competence will benefit from better decision-making and stronger business performance.
"Over more than a decade ofâinvestigating leader character in organizations, we've found that leaders largely underestimate and misunderstand the concept of character," they write. "They marginalize it as just being about ethics rather than recognizing it as the foundation of all judgment and decision-making."
