As PwC Australia's first female chair of the board of partners, Tracey Kennair has pledged to use her tenure to improve diversity metrics. Kennair, a technology consultant, is also the first company head elected from her division, in a move she says is “symbolic” of PwC’s shift in focus for the years ahead.
Kennair stated that she and her governance board will make diversity and equity targets central to their work. Prior to Kennair's appointment, a PwC Australia Partner departed after it was alleged that he held male-only events where employees would rate the attractiveness of female colleagues.
