Late last month, the Cambridge SupTech Lab released its “State of SupTech Report 2024,” which maps the global landscape of supervisory technology (SupTech) adoption.
The report is based on a survey of 139 financial authorities and a longitudinal sample of 228 agencies across 144 jurisdictions. The Lab found that more than half the world has now embraced SupTech, with 171 agencies in 107 countries reporting live implementations. And while advanced economies still lead in adoption as compared to emerging markets and developing economies, the gap has narrowed from 25% in 2023 to 14% in 2024.
