In a recent report from ING, past-Starling advisor Mirea Raaijmakers and her co-authors explore how an understanding the drivers of behavior is critical to managing risk, and sustaining the social role of banking in society.

Behavior is everything people do that others can perceive, they write. And behavioral risk relates to the way people behave in an organization and what it is that drives these behaviors. Using a behavioral risk lens means viewing an organization as a social system.
