According to the authors' research, firms that see global diversity as part of their DNA are 2.2x more likely to be world class innovators and 2.5x more likely to grow quickly.
While 95% of executives believe it important to have globally diverse teams, only 5% have such teams scaled across their organizations. "For innovation to succeed, creating an organization where people can break down boundaries and form new connections is often more important than ingenious ideas," the authors write.
