Kanwaljit Singh

Kanwaljit Singh is a Senior Program Officer for the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation.  He leads the 'Financial Services for the Poor' team’s emerging technologies work, which aims to accelerate development and adoption of technologies and platforms to bring digital financial services to the billions of unbanked and underbanked people globally.

Prior to joining the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation in 2018, Kanwaljit was a Senior technologist with 12+ years of research experience in the semiconductor industry spanning 6 technology nodes.  He has published over 100 publications and patents in the fields of semiconductor fabrication, quantum computing, materials science, applied chemistry and device performance.
