Walter Massey

Walter Massey is a physicist and the former Chair of Bank of America, having led the bank through the 2008 financial crisis. He is the Chair of the Giant Magellan Telescope Organization, and is President Emeritus of Morehouse College and of the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, former Director of the National Science Foundation, and former Director of Argonne National Laboratory. Massey has served on many boards, including BP, McDonald's, Motorola, the MacArthur Foundation, the National Center for Civil and Human Rights, and the Smithsonian Institution, among others.
