Organizational resilience is imperative for growth, especially given the increased uncertainty introduced by the covid pandemic and current market conditions. While many have focused on the impact of financial risks on resilience, particularly in the wake of the Global Financial Crisis, more emphasis has begun to be placed on the impact of non-financial risks.
As a part of their work to improve resilience, organizations should cultivate a “psychologically safe” workplace culture, in which employees feel comfortably obliged to exercise candor, raise concerns, contribute ideas, and share their unique perspectives.
