UK Regulators Criticized for Going Easy on HBOS Bosses

Observations

Earlier this year, the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and Bank of England (BOE) cleared the former bosses of HBOS of misconduct in the lead-up to its near-collapse in 2008.

Recently, the Parliamentary all-party group on fair business banking called this decision flawed, claiming it resulted from earlier regulatory failures.
