In a recent regulatory filing, Wells Fargo warned that it was under investigation for employee misuse of messaging apps.
According to Wells Fargo, the Securities and Exchange Commission and Commodity Futures Trading Commission have opened probes into the bank's "compliance with records-retention requirements relating to business communications sent over unapproved electronic messaging channels."
