In a recent speech, Emily Shepperd, COO and Executive Director of Authorisations at the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA), emphasized the importance of transforming culture to rebuild trust, ensure better outcomes for consumers, and create a more resilient and sustainable financial system.
Culture remains central to the FCA's supervisory model, as it underpins outcomes, conduct, and business performance. "Culture is not just the slogan on your website," Shepperd argued. "It is the very essence of what your organisation stands for, embodied by how it conducts itself."
