Michael Held

General Counsel and Executive Vice President of the Legal Group, Federal Reserve Bank of New York

Michael Held is the general counsel and EVP of the Legal Group at the New York Federal Reserve Board (NY Fed). He is also a member of the Bank's Executive Committee. In addition, he serves as deputy general counsel of the Federal Open Market Committee.


Matsuo Motonobu

Matonobu Matsuo is the Secretary-General of the Japan Securities & Exchange Surveillance Commission. The SESC falls under the FSA and is responsible for “ensuring fair transactions in both securities and financial futures markets.”


Mark Cooke

Former Group Head of Operational Risk HSBC

Mark Cooke joined HSBC in 2014 as Group Head of Operational Risk. In that role, Mark led a team of risk officers across the firm’s global footprint, overseeing non-financial risks such as compliance breaches and staff misconduct, before taking a sabbatical in 2020. Earlier, Mark held senior leadership roles at Barclays and UBS in risk, finance and operations. Today he is Chairman of ORX, the financial services industry association for Operational Risk Management.

Kathy Matsui is an adjunct professor of management at Kyoto University Graduate School of Management. She is also a General Partner of MPower Partners, Japan's first ESG-focused global venture capital fund.


Katherine Gibson

Deputy Commissioner, Financial Sector Conduct Authority

Katherine Gibson served as a member of the Transitional Management Committee of the South Africa Financial Sector Conduct Authority (FSCA) at the time of her appointment as Deputy Commissioner. In this role she fulfilled a number of key responsibilities and was also appointed as Acting Commissioner.


Karen Cook

Ray Lyman Wilbur Professor of Sociology, Stanford University

Karen S. Cook is the Ray Lyman Wilbur Professor of Sociology; Director of the Institute for Research in the Social Sciences (IRiSS); and Vice-Provost for Faculty Development and Diversity at Stanford. She conducts research on social interaction, social networks, social exchange, and trust. She has edited or co-authored numerous books and articles on the subject of trust in the organization.


Jonathan Davidson

Former Director, UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA)

Jonathan Davidson is a former Executive Director of Supervision and Authorisations for the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA). He is currently a Senior Advisor to the FCA on Sustainability and Climate Change.


John Seely Brown

Former Head, Xerox PARC and Co-Chairman, Deloitte’s Center for the Edge

John Seely Brown “JSB” was the Chief Scientist of Xerox Corporation until April 2002, and director of the renowned Xerox Palo Alto Research Center (PARC) until June 2000.


John Flint

Former Group CEO, HSBC

John Flint is the former Group CEO of HSBC. As of 2021, Mr. Flint was appointed to be the CEO of the UK Infrastructure Bank (UKIB).


James H Freis

Former Interim CEO, Wirecard, Former CCO, Deutsche Börse Group, Former Director, FinCEN

James Freis is a former Director of FinCEN and was the longest serving Director of that agency. He subsequently was the CCO at the Deutsche Börse Group and interim CEO at Wirecard following the exposure of fraud at that firm.

As Assistant to the President for Economic Policy and Director of the National Economic Council (2017-2018), Gary Cohn managed the US economic policy agenda, stimulating economic expansion, job creation, and wage increases through historic tax and regulatory reform. Prior to that he was the President and Chief Operating Officer at Goldman Sachs where he worked for more than 25 years.
