Professor Edmondson is the Novartis Professor of Leadership and Management at Harvard Business School, a chair established to support study of human interactions that lead to the creation of successful enterprises and the betterment of society. She studies leadership, psychological safety, and organizational learning.

Axel Weber is the past-Chair of UBS and the past-President of the German Bundesbank and a member of the European Central Bank Governing Council from 2004 to 2011. He is a member of the Group of 30.

Bill Coen was Secretary General of the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS) from 2014 to 2019. He is currently the Chair of the IFRIS Advisory Council. He also serves on the Global Advisory Board of MUFG and the Board of Directors of China Construction Bank.

Cecilia Skingsley became Head of the Bank for International Settlements (BIS) Innovation Hub in September 2022. She is a member of the BIS’s Executive Committee. Previously, she held the position of First Deputy Governor of Sveriges Riksbank since November 2019.

Christopher Calabia is the Chief Executive for the Dubai Financial Services Authority (DFSA). Chris is an experienced supervisor with expertise in global standards and innovation. Prior to his appointment, Chris worked from 2017-2021 at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation as the Senior Advisor for Supervisory & Regulatory Policy in Financial Services for the Poor.

Clare Bolingford is the Executive Director, Regulatory Delivery for the New Zealand Financial Markets Authority (FMA). Clare is responsible for directing, planning and delivery of the FMA’s core regulatory functions across licensing, engagement and supervision of regulated individuals and firms.

Douglas W. Arner is the Kerry Holdings Professor in Law, an RGC Senior Fellow, and Associate Dean (Taught Postgraduate) of the Faculty of Law at The University of Hong Kong.

Eva H.G. Hüpkes is the Secretary General of the International Association of Deposit Insurers (IADI)

Francesca Hopwood Road is the Head of the Bank for International Settlements Innovation Centre in London.

As Assistant to the President for Economic Policy and Director of the National Economic Council (2017-2018), Gary Cohn managed the US economic policy agenda, stimulating economic expansion, job creation, and wage increases through historic tax and regulatory reform. Prior to that he was the President and Chief Operating Officer at Goldman Sachs where he worked for more than 25 years.

Greg Medcraft was Director of the Directorate for Financial and Enterprise Affairs of the OECD from November 2017 to July 2021 contributing guidance, strategy and support for the Directorate’s policy and standard-setting work for financial and commercial enterprises.

Joy Wann is an Advisor for the BIS Innovation Hub Centre in Singapore, where she is the project lead for two of the Innovation Hub’s projects on regulatory data analytics and climate-related financial risks. Prior to joining the BIS Innovation Hub, she was a Member of the Secretariat for the Basel Committee on Banking Supervision (BCBS) from 2015 to 2020.

Karen S. Cook is the Ray Lyman Wilbur Professor of Sociology; Director of the Institute for Research in the Social Sciences (IRiSS); and Vice-Provost for Faculty Development and Diversity at Stanford. She conducts research on social interaction, social networks, social exchange, and trust. She has edited or co-authored numerous books and articles on the subject of trust in the organization.

Mark Cooke joined HSBC in 2014 as Group Head of Operational Risk. In that role, Mark led a team of risk officers across the firm’s global footprint, overseeing non-financial risks such as compliance breaches and staff misconduct, before taking a sabbatical in 2020. Earlier, Mark held senior leadership roles at Barclays and UBS in risk, finance and operations. Today he is Chairman of ORX, the financial services industry association for Operational Risk Management.

Mr. Ketchum is the former Chairman of Board of Governors and Chief Executive Officer of the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (2009 - 2016).

Simon Wills is the Executive Director of ORX. ORX, the Operational Risk Exchange, is the largest operational risk management association in the financial services sector.

Simone di Castri is the Co-Founder and Co-Head of the Cambridge SupTech Lab. He is a public policy specialist and frontier digital economy and financial market leader with 15 years of high-impact engagement in the fields of banking, payments, telecoms, and technology.

Curry was nominated by President Obama to serve as head of the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC). As Comptroller of the Currency (2012-17), Curry led the US federal agency that charters, regulates, and supervises national banks and federal savings banks.

Thomas W. Malone is the Patrick J. McGovern Professor of Management at the MIT Sloan School of Management and founding director of the MIT Center for Collective Intelligence.

Dr Tom Reader is an Associate Professor of Organisational Psychology at the London School of Economics. He directs the Masters of Science in Organisational and Social Psychology and he leads a Masters in Science and Executive course on Organisational Culture. Tom is also a chartered psychologist (MA and PhD, University of Aberdeen; Leverhulme Fellowship).
