Observations

Following an employee uprising dubbed "Apple Together," tech giant Apple has agreed to drop all employee gag clauses related to workplace harassment. The pledge follows an independent counsel finding that Apple may have restricted employees from speaking out about discrimination and abuse.

"Apple has agreed to remove concealment clauses from employee contracts, both for full-time employees, as well as for contract workers. That is huge in itself," Kristin Hull, chief executive of Nia Capital, said. Hull, alongside the Minderoo Foundation, led a petition supported by more than 50 percent of shareholders in a vote in March.
